Unfortunately, summer has ended and all my little beauties are fading away. I did a bit of a tidy in the front garden to get ready for a long sleep! I won’t be adding much to this garden over the winter, just planting the acer, replacing my red peony that didn’t make it through last winter, and planting a few fritillary bulbs around. Next year, we are hoping to add an alpine area next to the pond and fill in here and there, but this garden is mostly done and will be left to grow in over the years. 🥰 I also had loads of bulbs to plant in pots that will decorate the entrance in the spring! As much as I love the color of summer, I much prefer the autumn chores.

Fabulous! Imagine just a short while ago there was nothing! I love the look of the garden, you’ve done such a great job with it. I love the yellow roses and the names of all the plants. I can’t wait to see it when it wakes up next spring!
