Hello 🙂 It’s been a lovely end to the summer and I have been enjoying the garden, although spending more time maintaining it than starting projects. This weekend though I was lucky enough to make some time for myself and play in the dirt.

One thing I would really like to do is sort through all of the pots and trays that were left here to either keep, or give away. While I was moving all of that to the patio to wash, I disturbed the resident frog again!! It moved back into the junk pile after I let it sit for a few months. I have big future plans of putting in a large pond back here to host them, but I thought until then I could build up a mini pond as a temporary home. I had already cleared out this patch of dirt this week to put in a wildflower meadow, and thought a tiny pond would be a perfect accent within it. I had leftover liner from my front pond and some misfit bricks laying around. Throw in a little bit of the excess pond plants from the front, and one frog tiny home is complete! 🐸 Wouldn’t some daffodils be so pretty dotted around the stump path?

It’s officially autumn here now but I still have a couple bloomers going strong to cheer me up while I trudge through the mud. Reminder of a beautiful summer. 🤗

I love the meadow idea! You need a pretty bench, maybe you could build one from your pots? I can’t mail you your yellow bench, sorry!
