I’m back home to America for the rest of the month and I’ve tried to set all of my plants up for success while I’m away, but I am nervous to see what the garden will look like two weeks from now!! The mulch should hold down the weeds, and I’ve filled the seedling trays with water (Andrew will be home a few more days to maybe check on them before he flies over). The only thing I didn’t get to was weeding between the tile cracks, so that will surely come back to bite me in June. But here are my last updates of the month of May.

I cleared weeds from the beds alongside the patio and put down mulch. They look very empty because I’ve spent all my time (and money) on the front garden this year! But I’ve got a few things going and will add more when I’m home.

I’m a bit sad I might miss some upcoming blooms, but my timing might just be okay. I missed my peonies last spring and I will be cutting it close this year. They all have buds but if they can just wait two more weeks to open that would be soooo appreciated. 🙏🏼
