A Peek of the Patio

I have been very busy improving the garden while the weather has been warm and clear. It’s been a beautiful summer and everything is flourishing. Here’s a little bit of what’s happening on the patio:

our fence on the other side of the patio in need of a scrub
i painted it to match our other fence and started to shape our windswept firethorn tree
our patio weeds grew back quickly while i was away in america
dug out all the weeds, but you better believe they are already back! still in need of a powerwash
sassy snail
forgot to take a picture but i undertook the big task of chopping down the ivy “tree” behind this butterfly bush!

rosebush came back beautifully after some TLC last year
love this style of hanging basket that comes to a point at the bottom
black eyed susan vine was a late addition but i’m obsessed. next year i will plant out earlier to really cover the trellis
cute new mushroom stakes for the garden, behind i placed a trellis to grow a clemetis
